Sapsan Train Stations
High-speed Sapsan trains, operated by Russian Railways, are among the most popular options for traveling between Moscow and St. Petersburg as they depart from and arrive to the train stations located right in the heart of the cities, thus connecting both capitals from city-center to city-center in a short period of time (around 4 hours).

Interestingly, both buildings of the Sapsan stations are "twins" and were designed by the same architect, Konstantin Thon, in the late 1840's.
